ENHANCED UNIFORMITY FOR BETTER IMAGING
The uniformity of a source is the key to a high-quality scan. Our proprietary manufacturing process ensures one of the most uniform sources available. To prove it, we provide a Uniformity Scan Chart with each source we deliver.
 

ROD AND PIN UNIFORMITY
Every Sanders Medical rod source and pin source is tested for uniformity using our automated system, which scans the entire length of the source in 5 mm increments. We warrant the non-uniformity of our rod and pin sources to be within +/-5%. A uniform line source ensures that transmission scans and detector normalizations will not have activity gaps or hot spots, which helps eliminate possible image artifacts for a higher-quality scan.

CYLINDER PHANTOM UNIFORMITY
To ensure every cylinder phantom we make is perfectly uniform, we scan each one on a PET/CT scanner. We can provide a data CD of each uniformity scan for your reference upon request.
